Big Sofa is a technology business that’s grown out of an insight consultancy. We help organisations make sense of an ever increasing flood of images and video by creating bespoke spaces in our powerful online platform to help them capture, organise and search media; and through using our insight and consulting skills to help them analyse, make sense of it and generate meaning. Combined, we enable deeper consumer understanding, better collaboration and innovation in organisations.

We’re working with some of the biggest agencies in the consumer intelligence sector and multinational clients. Project ExecutiveLondon
Full time - Client Services Team

We are expanding our UK team and are looking for an individual that is self-driven, energetic, and passionate about what they do. As a Project Executive, you will help Big Sofa expand its presence globally by supporting day-to-day project needs as well as contribute to overall business objectives.

You won’t be expected to do everything from Day 1, but you will be expected to learn fast and take on as much responsibility as you can. The role offers unlimited opportunities for progression and development; and over time you’ll progress to run projects and/or manage clients and conduct analysis of visual data. You’ll need to be prepared to work hard, but you’ll find it a lively, informal, flexible and enjoyable environment to be in.

About you…

You enjoy working with a global team that is hardworking and extremely talented.

You’re curious, like understanding things and people and are interested in how brands can use video to transform consumer insight.

You love to solve problems, think outside the box, champion your own ideas, and support team members who have different ideas.

You are passionate about learning.

You are okay with taking risks, trying new ideas, and sometimes being wrong.

You are comfortable with new technology and enjoy taking the lead on supporting research needs that require technical support.

You communicate well and are able to listen and understand the needs of others.

You are detailed and organised which helps you to meet fast-paced deadlines and to easily change directions when needed.

You believe that hard work is hard, but rewarding, and you are always willing to roll up your sleeves to help, even if it is outside of your day to day job.

You have experience with Microsoft and Google office products.

You are proactive and a multi tasker.

You have attention to detail and the ability to think strategically.

You are willing to work in a flexible and innovative work environment .

There’ll be room to shape the role as you grow into it; but over time we’ll expect you to be involved in:

Getting projects done.

Ensuring smooth running of projects from an operational perspective, from sourcing suppliers to setting up new projects on our online tech platform and managing documentation and activity.

Working with video and image files on our platform - from managing uploads to making sure they get processed right.

Managing project timelines and work collaboratively with teams across the entire business: including insight, product, tech, marketing and operations.

Working with our tech.

Learning what our platform does, how it helps clients and how it works.

Helping with testing and feature development; and becoming the go-to expert on parts of functionality.

Seek out client feedback and feed it into our development process.

Come up with ideas for new features, workflows and tools that help us and our clients!

Managing our clients.

Building practical client relationships and managing expectations on projects and platform.

Responding to requests and proactively working with clients to keep them updated and make sure projects go smoothly.

Write proposals, win projects and lead smaller accounts.
